Peer-to-Peer Skill Contests

PickemSports.club is a free-to-enter skills challenge club. Every challenge is competition between real users for the top of the board — there is no entry fee, no prize pool and no payout, the platform never wagers against you, and neither PickemSports.club nor I3 Company employees, contractors, agents, affiliates or automated bots enter challenges. Memberships fund operations.
· Analyzing usage rates, target shares, snap counts, recent form
· Balancing floor/ceiling projections and tiebreaker predictions
· Reading the live board and tiebreaker margins as games unfold
What we DON'T do
· No house-banked wagers or “against the board” bets
· No automated bots, scripted lineups, or ringer accounts
· No employees or insiders playing contests, ever
· No proposition bets on single players in single games
Federal Framework
UIGEA 2006 · § 5362(1)(E)(ix)
Fantasy sports contests are exempt from the federal Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act when they satisfy three statutory conditions. Our contests are designed to satisfy all three:
01No entry fees, no prizes — every challenge is free to enter and awards no cash, merchandise or anything of value. Members pay only for a membership that unlocks which sports they can play.
02Skill predominates — outcomes reflect the relative knowledge and skill of participants, based on accumulated statistics across multiple real-world NFL games (Thu / Sun / Mon).
03Multi-event lineups — no winning outcome is based on the score, spread, or single-game performance of any single real team or athlete.
UIGEA is not a blanket legalization — state laws still control paid operators. Because our challenges charge nothing and award nothing, they sit outside those rules; the map below is background on where paid fantasy operators may run.
Skill vs Chance Test
THE PREDOMINANT FACTOR TEST
Most US courts apply the predominant factor test — a contest is classified as skill-based if skill predominates over chance in determining the outcome. Independent research (MIT, 2018; Kondor et al., 2015) has repeatedly shown that top DFS players consistently outperform random selection across large samples of contests, which is the hallmark of a skill-based competition. This is why you should treat every entry as a research exercise: study projections, matchups, and recent form — not a lottery ticket.
